Jotunheimen National Park

With over 250 mountains reaching more than 2000 masl, including Galdhøpiggen at 2469 masl, Jotunheimen offer wild nature at its best. Here you can hike, bike, climb or ski. Follow the wild rivers and let the roar of the waterfalls humble you. Camp wild and free, spend the night sleeping inside the wooden huts, cabins and lodges of the Park.

Jotunheimen mountain area is located between Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, covering roughly 3,500 square kilometres in the heart of Norway. You will find some of the most famous hiking trails and summit hikes in Norway here, and in Årdal you find the gateway to these mountains by venturing into the Utladalen Landscape Protection Area.
