Klingenberg Hotel
«Big Jens», Jens Klingenberg Prestegård, a capable innkeeper and mountain guide opened Klingenberg Coaching Inn in 1861. For the most part the guests consisted of mountaineers and hikers who wanted to explore the valley of Utladalen and Jotunheimen. Today the Inn has become the Klingenberg Hotel. The hotel is proud of its roots and a love for nature is obvious in its interior. With fjord and mountains right outside the window, the house lives in harmony with the variations of nature. The building follows the lines of nature, and its facade to the west stretches like a lengthy wave welcoming the Sognefjord on land.
